Page 8..... furry rearview accessories Russell and Shaun want to hear what you really think! E-mail us at whim@diceman.co.uk Dear Russell and Shaun, What can I say? Your program is almost perfect. I have not always the time to watch it because of various business, but I really think it is the best program I can watch on Discovery Channel. I guess you will not really stop that as soon as you will realize how many people love your show and your work. And you have to go to the discovery of the "small America" going through the whole States randomly, from one coast to the other. I bet thousands of people would enjoy to make this random travel with you, and it should be wonderful if you could even have a longer program. I am Italian, but as a lot of them I love the States. I am trying to move there to reach my girlfriend, and I really hope to meet you down the street in Long Island. All my compliments to you two.... Francesco (ITALY) You have balls! I think there must be times you have to do a couple of takes to get the right roll of the dice. However, I'm sure you are more righteous and take each roll of the dice like a man. A DICEMAN! Keep up the good work, glad to hear you will live to see 80, Russell. Many more years of your adventures. Mark from Michigan Russell and Shaun, Your show is great, I love watching it with my room mates. Good luck in the future. Jeff, Virginia Just wanted to say that my wife Raigh and I have enjoyed watching your show "The Diceman" on the Travel Channel in the USA. I am a Master Sergeant in the US Air Force and having served 20 years so far I have seen a bit of the world as well. I am currently stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii, I know it is paradise, but I enjoy watching shows like yours on the Travel Channel. It is a way to get off the island for a few minutes without the huge expense. I really enjoyed series III, because before coming here I was stationed at SHAPE HQ Mons, Belgium, just south of Brussels. It was a chance to return to a lot of the places we have been to. We were also to most of the places you visited during series IV. They haven't shown series I or II yet, but I hope they will in the future. I will e-mail the Travel Channel and ask if they have the rights to these two series to please air them. Unfortunately, they are owned by the Discovery Channel, so I doubt, from what you said that they will back more episodes of your show. I will, however, e-mail them and suggest it. Your show has the most unique twist of any travel show I have ever seen. The only ones that come close are Michael Palin's trips and Bill Bryson's books on his jaunts around Europe and the UK. To just go where the dice and people's inputs take you is such a novel idea and a bit daring. I wish I had the money and guts to do that. Russell is a fantastic host or presenter as you say in the UK and Shaun is obviously a great friend to Russell and a damn fine camera man. If I had the money I would back your show and wouldn't mind going on a few of your trips. As for new inputs I think you could use your dice for the lats and longs and start from wherever that takes you, even if it is in the middle of the ocean, Antarctica, or the North Pole. Also, you could start the trip from the Equator, possibly from Africa, since Russell sort of grew up there.Well, I really hope that you find a new backer for your show and I hope they show it in America. Take care and may the roads and people be always kind to you. A fellow traveler that misses the open road, Bob Kinsler Russell / Shaun Last week I was off work with the flu which I obtained from one of my children, however being faced with a whole week of crap daytime TV I was intrigued when I stumbled across the Discovery channel and found the "Diceman". I watched the rest of that program and was delighted to find out its was more than just a one off, I have watched it every day since and have spent most of this morning boring all my staff with details of the show, we are now going to use the dice at work to decide who will get the drinks etc. Well done to you both it's a fantastic show and long may it continue, also I have lived in Crowborough for 14 years ! Harvey Osborn, National Sales Manager. Reed Publishing Group Just a fast note to tell you how much I enjoy watching your show on the Travel Channel. I use to be the photographer for the television show The "Outdoor Sportsman" that was syndicated in the United States and Canada. I can appreciate all the work that goes into each show. The Outdoor Sportsman was in a way like your show. IT was just the two of us who shot the show and then I would put it together. So, tell you I enjoy the show is a understatement, a couple of years back I broke my neck, so, that was that. But you show is not only interesting but, brings back some great memories. Thanks and Keep It Up!! Fred Gaspro, Washington, USA Dear Russell and Shaun, I love the show, it's probably the best program on TV. I rush home from school everyday to watch you guys on the t.v, at 4.00. I couldn't believe that there's not going to be any more series, I've been a loyal fan for the best part of a year, and it would be a real shame just to see repeats. Whenever me and my family drive down a road I hope that you two will be there thumbing lift, so if you're ever in Leicestershire, feel free to write in. If you would like to write to me, or any other Diceman fan would like to contact me to talk about the show, or just have a chat then feel free on Scott@thestudio53.freeserve.co.uk Scott, UK Russell & Shaun, Wrote previously concerning our deep desire to keep The Diceman going. If I may be so bold as to ask fellow fans to petition The Travel Channel as well as The Discovery Channel. Wrote to the The Discovery channel myself and received a response from the " viewer relations " stating that the message would be passed on to the powers that be. I just hope that the " powers that be " realize a great show when they see one. Not just another mindless food or quaint vacation show. So please post this for others to see. So, all you fellow fans; Please write to The Travel Channel : www.travelchannel.com Bob & Diane Branscum Cincinnati, Ohio Hi Russell and Shaun I ve been watching the show now for about a year and am stunned that the Discovery channel are not commisioning anymore . Maybe the shows a little bit ahead of its time in the sense that the viewers absolutely love it, but the" powers that be" cant get there heads around it yet . The concept is brillant , the way its done is brilliant, Russell is humorous, interesting and natural with people, I honestly believe if it were given prime time viewing it would storm the ratings. There's a big wide world out there and someone somewhere should see the Dicemans potential !!!. I'm curently enjoying episode 4 The Diceman USA and hope there will be more shows made. best wishes Richard Chapman, UK Well, thanks a lot, guys. Now my husband wants to roll the dice on our next vacation! That's OK, I know where I can buy trick dice, unlike yours! Anyway, I'm glad you're picking up a fan base all over the world. Everybody, PLEASE contact the Discovery Channel at viewer_relations@discovery.com or in the US, call them at 888-404-5969. (I got this from Discovery's website.) We've got to get this show back on the air - we're already into reruns. While they're great, new shows would be even better. So let's make our opinions known, and get behind this great show! Sylvia, Atlanta, GA, USA Hi Russell & Shaun My boyfriend and I both think your programme is great. It's such a refreshing change to the more formal travel programmes and as well as showing us around some interesting places, you also give us quite a laugh! We think the idea behind the show is so great that we are thinking of doing our own 'dice' tour when next we are overseas. At least we know we'll never get bored. The programme is now on Discovery at 6:30pm, having taken over from the sexy Anna of Walker's World. Must say my boyfriend enjoyed eying her shapely form more than he does yours, Russell, but I think you're quite cute! (Oh by the way, Russell, we were extremely impressed to see you fixing a leaking tap on Room for Improvement the same day as you were touring Winchester Cathedral! Wow-a man of many talents) HOW ABOUT DOING A DICEMAN PROGRAMME ON SOUTH AFRICA? Louise and Peter, Cape Town, South Africa Hy Russel an Shaun!!!!! I like a lot your show. And I bage you to come to Romania,Galati. I must mention that I'm a big fan of your SHOW. I hope that I'll arrive in UK. I'm 13 years.Hey..............don't laugh! In London and Harrogate, to make a turkish bath.....I'd like to come. I must say that I WOULD like to make a travel throw the world too. YOU' RE COOL GUYS! Alin, Romania Hello Russell and Shaun, I just watched your first show on Discovery and I am hooked! I've been an Anglofyl for many years, for I have lived in Sandwich, Kent when I was a child and I loved England ever since. Your show has made me homesick for the first time. Please, more shows!!! Lots of love - Trudy, Klijndijk, the Netherlands Dear Russell, Everyday I watch your show while I'm doing my exercise workout. Traveling with you and Shaun, and listening to your accent is always a good time. I would, however, enjoy seeing more of Shaun. It's would be nice to be able to picture the camera man. I particularly enjoyed the show you filmed from Berlin and got a good laugh out of you at the cider farm. Thanks for the memories . . . . Cheri Beaupre, LongBeach, California Hi Russell and Shaun Just wanted to send you a big thank you mail for your programme. I have always been a fan, such a simple concept and you do it so well. I've been home sick these last couple of weeks, and I must say your show has made it much more bearable ! Please keep up the great work Debbie Jones, Tiptree Essex Hi Russell and Shaun, My wife and I have to express our deepest appreciation for the joy you have given us with your unique series of programs. They are entertaining, informative, and a whole lot of fun. Also they invite you to view your own life in a much more spontaneous way. As Aussies living in New York we would love to see you visit Australia and return to The Big Apple. Another series MUST be made. Thank you again, Judy and Bob N.Y. USA Diceman, I think your show is awesome. I watch it when I come home from show every weekday. Letting your journeys be decided by the rolling of a dice kicks ass. I would make only one minor change though. I would add a third member to your team. An American college student, like myself, would add a new element to the show. I could be your and Shaun's sidekick during the trip. It would introduce a new, younger audience to the show and I'm a very fun guy to hang with. I'm a history major so I know a lot of stuff about historical places. Just a thought, because I think it would be great to be a part of your travels. Thanks Pete, New York Dear Russell and Shaun: Love the show, watch it everyday before going to work. Sorry to hear we have only 60 shows to watch, say when are you guys coming to Alaska anyway?? Come on up, we'll walk on some glaciers, grill up some salmon, chase some brown bears and drink some home brews! Thanks for a great show! Mark & Linda, Juneau, Alaska Hello Russell! I love your personality. You have a great sense of humor. Great eyes and smile. I will stop here, to prevent further embarrassment of myself :) I love writing and have an itch to just let go here...but I think this is enough to start. I hope this makes you Smile! Oh, almost forgot...Hi Shaun!! Its the pits to get the glamour job, isn't it? Although, when I watch the program, it is your name I hear. You are getting good publicity. You are doing a wonderful job also! Well, Guys, gotta go....Have a Wonderful Day, Week, Month, Year, Life. It is a pleasure watching you on your program. Thank You for sharing yourselves with us. Take Care! Love Ya's Lynda Russell and Shaun, I've watched the Travel Channel for quite awhile now, always fascinated by the different adventures and interesting places. Lonely Planet has been a favorite of mine for awhile until a couple months ago I caught your program. Now I have to admit that you two are without question the hit of the channel. Both of you guys make anywhere you go and anything you do so much fun. I was ticked off to hear production has stopped. Please do me and many others a huge favor by continuing your outstanding show. Good luck to you both. Todd White, Rochester, NewYork,USA Hi.... "I watch TV a lot.I have many favourite programmes. One of them is "THE DICEMAN". This programme is shown on Discovery channel at 9.30 a.m. and 9.30 p.m. on Discovery travel & adventure. The DICEMAN is about travelling to villages and cities. The programme is presented by Russel and Shaun. Russel has a big sense of humour, he wears fany clothes (orange trouser...). Shaun is a cameraman but sometimes he appears in front camera. This programme is very interesting and very nice. I invite everyone to visit an official DICEMAN website on www.diceman.co.uk. ...this is my composition which I wrote at school on English lesson. I invite You to my homepage is www.promail.pl/~janruss/ Jan Russ, Warsaw, Poland I absolutely love your programme, and watch every episode I can. The relaxed delivery, beautiful locations and the way the show is put together makes it a real joy to watch. It's absorbing and involving. Fab. Hey Guys, You have, far and away, the best show on television. I discovered it while home sick with the flu. Now that I have recovered I tape both episodes while I am at work all day, then watch them as soon as I walk in the door. I guess I live vicariously through the dicemen, but you have definitely inspired me to take to the road with my wife when I finish grad school. Your way with people of all races and walks of life is so natural, it's really what makes the show. Be sure to make more episodes...by whatever means necessary. I will be sure to lobby on your behalf and e-mail the Discovery Channel. When you DO start another season (we have to be confident), hopefully the dice will find you back stateside. If you are ever in Iowa (where I am now) or the NYC area (specificially, Yonkers, NY, where my family is from), be sure to get in touch if you need food, lodging, or just a couple of pints. Take care of yourselves. Cheers, Mike V Schiavone, Iowa, USA Russell & Shaun, I have been watching your show for about a month and just love it. I am starting to go into repeats, but that is OK, you guys are never boring. My boys (twins-5) have started using the dice when they decide on what they should do or what game they play. They love the show as much as I do. I am sad that discovery will not go on any longer. It is truly their loss. I have started recording the shows so that when it goes off the air, I will have them for when I need a vacation. (being a stay at home mom with 3 kids, vacations are few and far between) Keep up the great work and Russell, I just love your laugh! It is so cute. Best of luck in all your travels!! Barbara Morgenstern, Dallas, Texas I've been watching The Diceman on The Travel Channel in the USA. I really hope that you guys don't stop making the show. You're doing the things the rest of us poor saps wish we could do. So PLEASE keep making the show. Jeff Gooch, USA Russell and Shaun, I am absolutely enthralled with your show. What an experience it must be to go with the roll of the dice! I am planning a trip to Europe, and I'm quite new to travel, so maybe on my next trip I can be as adventurous as both of you! My cable company just got "The Travel Channel" which airs your show, and I hope I get to see as many as I can before they are gone forever! Please negotiate with someone to make more!!! Thank you for the inspiration! Marcia, Georgia, USA Just wanted to let you know, I love your show. The format is excellent! Sorry to hear about the Discovery Channel's decision. Please let us know whom we need to e-mail!! I can tell by your Fan Page, that I'm not alone in enjoying you program. Keep up the great work. Doug, Burnsville, NC Fellas....... good show.........just started seeing it here in the States within the past few months.........hope you can keep it going.......wishI could go with you! John Riccardi, USA dear russell and shaun i must say that i am sorry to hear that you are not doing anymore diceman adventures in the near future, i have just read your website and i think that it is a shame i really enjoy your programmes. when you start filming your next episodes you must contact me as i love adventuring and think that it would be very beneficial to you to have me presenting your show with you e-mail me at your earliest conveinience. love Zangi xxxxxx Dear Guys, Firstly, may I say how disappointed I am to learn that thers are to be no more Diceman programmes, at least for the time being. I want to say what a great idea and series it has been. My wife and myself have thoroughly enjoyed every programme. Unfortunately, we only came across you when changed to Sky Digital (sadly). Anyway, we look forward in hope that more will follow. Certainly if entertainment and originality count for anything, it certainly should. Best regards to all. Stewart Kellett Hi Russell and Shaun Just a short note to say - what a fab prgramme, I can't believe Discovery aren't going to air any more of the episodes of the show (boooooooo!). But, the programme is currently being shown on Discovery Travel & Adventure at the moment, so I can still get my daily fix...... All the best to you both and thanx for a great programme. If you're ever in Bradford, I could give you six suggestions on where to go! Doris (Dicefan) Marchant, Bradford, UK Just discovered your show and think it is truly a clever idea! I have only been watching for one week, and now I have learned the Discovery Channel will not carry it anymore, are they crazy?!!! Hope you can get it all worked out, and hope you visit our part of the world (if the roll of the dice permits!) Best Wishes Minnesota, USA Dear Rusell and Shaun: I just wanted you to know that I've truly enjoyed your show and am very sorry to hear you won't be back for another season. I do hope you come back soon. Your show has been the most amusing, funny, and exciting travel show I have ever seen and you both make a good team together. Please keep up your website so all of us fans can keep in touch with you guys and keep up the good work! You guys are truly the best!!!!! Connie G., Florida, USA Tell the Travel Channel to promote your show more. I found it by accident. Dave Tolle hey guys ! finally found your web page.had to really pay attention to the credits at the end of your show to get the address.the D channel is really makeing a Big mistake on no more new shows.for people like me -9 to 5 job -bills-two kids in college-1 week of vacation etc.-your show offers a chance to dream about a way of life that (normal) !! people don't get to do. If I can help in any way please let know. best regards Bill Windham Ft. Worth, Texas, USA Russell & Shaun - Just found you recently while staying home due to snow. Loved your show on Wales! My husband and I are traveling to England this year and may take up the same attitude on how and where to go. Spontaneity is wonderful. It's a shame you won't be making more episodes (for the moment) but I'm looking forward to watching more. Excellent work. Tori in North Carolina, USA Dear Shaun and Russell, Did the name switch get your attention? Raymond & Carolyn Lueders, Baraboo, WI USA Hi Russel and Shaun, I'm a 19-old girl from Den Helder, Holland. And I watch your show every week, because it's cool and you eautiful spots in Europe. But I have missed the show in the USA. And I don't like that, because I LOVE THE USA. Do you go repeat that show for me, please? So, go on and have a good trip!!! Anouk Stroo from Den Helder-Holland Hello Russell, Hello Shaun! I think the Diceman is really enjoyable. I love it!!!!! Russell you are very scrummy! Is it true that your wife works on the Diceman too? Please, Please try to keep the Diceman going it would be a shame if it finished. Russell, Are you doing anything else on the television. I know you used to do a D.I.Y programme I've seen it a few times. My daughter is 21 months and is very musical she can sing the diceman theme tune! How cute is that!!!!! She loves the programme, its about the only time she sits still! Take Care of yourselves! Annette, East Sussex, UK Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I absolutely love the show!I watch it everyday, twice a day! I happened to be watching it yesterday, and it was when you and Shaun were in the Grand Canyon. You rolled the "dice" and had your energy read by the lady. When she went down your back, and told you she felt stress there, and you said you had a tumor on your spine that was removed there, I was overcome with emotion. I have enjoyed watching long before I found this out, and just felt so much love for you after. I hope all is well with you, and continues to be. Did this show have anything to do with that at all? I felt after I watched it, that maybe you had done this, so you could see things that you might have not seen in your life time. Well, hope you continue with part 5 of the "Diceman" you are a very lively man, and give alot to television! I don't know if you have been to boston, but this is where I live, and would love to show you around here. there are some great "Pubs" around here, and would love to have a cold one with ya! Melissa Ramsay, USA I started watching the show on the Travel Channel. I think it is one of the best travel shows on television. I hope it will continue for a 5th series. Keep up the good work. Joe Johnson, Cumming, Georgia(USA) To Russel and Shaun. Great viewing, all the family love the Diceman including my three year old daughter. We cant believe that discovery don’t want any more programs - they probably don’t want original and informative TV shows any more and they settle for showing any old crap. To fans of the Diceman all over the world - get together and e mail your complaints to Discovery Channel and see if we can get them to rethink and get the best programme on TV a new series. Steve Wain and Family, Ripley Derbys UK Hi Russel and Shaun, Way to go. It's Fantastic. Your show is broadcasting in the Netherlands and it is cool that we can see it. If you made a new series please let it know through the webpage. It would be coolies. Greez, Marijn. Fron Holland Diceman, I want you to know that your show is the greatest! I even watched it this morning instead of ESPN; that is unheard of. I caught your show on the Travel Channel during the Christmas holidays. My brother is a Travel Channel freak and so I had seen Alby and others, but your show is the best. I have been hooked ever since. I tape both shows every day and watch them when I get home from work. I can't believe you were so close to Roswell, New Mexico and missed us. You know Roswell is the home of the 1947 alien crash! You can come in one of the new series. I couldn't believe when I got to your page and saw that there weren't anymore shows planned. I had written the Travel Channel last week and told them how great the show was before I came to this site and saw the disturbing news. I will write again. In the meantime, let us know how the best way to help would be. I'll do what I can. The only good part is that I haven't seen Series I or II since I just started watching recently. So I'm looking forward to it. By the way, Great haircut! It is just like mine. I do, however, have a gotee. So if you ever need a third or have a contest to let someone travel with the Diceman for a week or two, let me know; I'm ready! keep up the great work. There are too few good shows on TV as it is. Brent Green, Roswell, New Mexico, USA Dear Russell and Saun, So sad to hear you will no longer be making programmes for Discovery. It was our Sunday treat! We think you should be on mainstream TV. It is a great concept and makes compelling TV. Seen you today at Ripley Castle Yet again!!!!!!! We live in hopes of more. Happy Travels, Hope To See You Soon. Wendy and Daryll Yeo, Claygate, Surrey, UK Hello Russell and Shaun, I accidently found your show last week on the Travel Channel during an early lunch, and have been taping twice a day for later viewing ever since. And your show has become a favorite of my wife too! We love your very human reactions to situations. Last night (Saturday) we watched 4 taped episodes, and Cindy almost fell out with your facial reactions to jumping into an icy stream while Canyoning in Scotland. We are also enjoying your "series IV" in the west (they don't seem to be in order on the Travel Channel). Great photography too! Thank you again, and we hope to continue to catch more of your adventures in the future. Kirk and Cindy Brettschneider, Taft California U.S.A. Russell and Shaun, This is the first time we have visited your site, however the family have been watching you from the begining(from little acorns........) We have eagerly followed you around the UK, Ireland and beyond (what does raw Whale meat taste of?) anyway we would love to see the pair of you roll around Australasia. If you decide to do this drop us an E-mail and we may just join you for a beer or Ten. Keep on rolling.... Ian and Julie-in Stockport Dear Russell and Shaun: I have watched your show numerous times on the Travel Channel which I receive via cable hookup in Queens, New York. I find it an ingenious concept for a travel program due to its unpredictability if for no other reason. I was also delighted to witness your excursions in the USA. Driving in Florida really is a bargain, isn't it? May I politely suggest that when you ask six people for a suggestion of what to do next, and one suggests a mundane pursuit i.e. bowling or getting a cup of coffee, that you skip skip them and ask someone else. After all, if the other five utter things on the order of: go to the museum, whale watching, etc. that is far more interesting to your viewers than bowling in Berlin. All the same, your show is a pleasure, and I hope the two of you journey to more exotic locations in the twenty first century. David in Queens Russell and Shaun, We just started getting your show hear on the Travel Channel and I think its great. I travel a lot for business, which is always planned and changes little. Your format of traveling as the dice takes you makes me want to join you in a free spirited jaunt. Keep up the good work. Terry, Florida, USA Hello mates, Just wanted to tell you how much I really enjoy your show. We only recently started watching the travel channel here and my trouble and strife thinks I'm adicted to your show. As a fellow Brit living here in America I kind of miss seeing and talking to other Brits, and your show does make me a little homesick(I'm originally from Wales). Anyway keep up the good work and if the dice ever role you this way (St. Louis USA), look us up as we have a place for you to stay. I may be able to get you a tour of the prison that I'm a correctional officer at. see ya Jerry & Sheila Dumayne Dear Russell (the diceman) Hi, I really like watching your show and it's a great way of travelling around by letting a dice decide what you do! I have just finished watching the show and it was the episode when you were in the Isle of Man just leaving Blackpool. Claire Carstairs, Worcestershire Russell and Shaun, I just discovered your show on the travel channel. I have to say that it is on of the most enjoyable shows on TV. I was sorry to read on this site that production has stopped for the time being. Hopefully you will get things straightened out and get back on the road. Looking forward to the next series John, Chicago I very like this show, I think it is a good program for everybody old and young people. Michal, Poland Hello Russell and Shaun, just a quick note to say how much your show is enjoyed by myself here in Lexington,Kentucky U.S.A......,I too have a hard time believing you guys get paid for doing what most of us have to pay for, going on Holiday!!!! What I wouldn't give to have the talent, time and means to travel the world on the throw of the dice. Unfortunately, health considerations stand in the way and I must live out my travel dreams vicariously through other venues and for me The Diceman does it right, hopefully someone will have the good sense to renew your contracts and the adventure can continue. If you ever make it to the Bluegrass State,..you and Shaun have a standing invite for a good shot of Bourbon Whiskey or a pint of ale,if you prefer, kindest regards Douglas Marshall Hi, I hope you find another TV company to show the diceman the TV will not be the same without it. It has everything from fun to education. It is a great idea for a show and I hope that via the web site you will let us know when and where the new series is. Safe journey the next time. Hello Russell and Shaun, We (my husband and me ) are watching your show for quite a time now and we both love it very much. With each episode we say : oh, there we would like to go sometimes. It is so beautifull everywhere you two are going. We live on a small island in the top of Holland, with only 1000 inhabitants. It's worth it to visit it sometimes, if the dice will bring you here, we have the widest beach of all of Europe.Greetings!! Irma Meintema,Schiermonnikoog, Holland Wonderful programme _ really addictive. Look forward to more programmes _ please try bbc, channel 4 Etc. Rebecca Dear Russell and Shaun, I have become a fan of your show over the past few months, and am sorry to hear that Discovery will not be continuing to air it. It is a lot of fun to watch, unlike a lot of their shows that can be somewhat dry. I will be e-mailing them letting them know of my views on this, and hopefully with other fans e-mailing them we can keep you on the air. Keep up the good work, your show is an absolute joy to watch. Sorry to have missed you when you were here. Walter Foster, Denver, CO Shaun is very mysterious about his past, but it has been very colorful. Shaun ran away with the flea circus when he was just 11 years old. His job was to put little, tiny shoes on the dancing fleas right before their performance. He later graduated to stagehand and even got to direct an episode of "Flea, for your life!" Being bitten by the the performance bug, Shaun ventured out on his own. He spent three years pulling the wiskers off crawfish for seafood gumbo to support himself wilst he looked for a job in entertainment. All this hard work paid off with a steady hand and a directors flair. Shaun's job as cameraman and director with "The Diceman" was a perfect match. Russell and Shaun you deserve to have this show go on. Let me know how I can help. I am willing to write letters to the network, contact sponsors - or make up stories about Shaun's past - to help keep this show going. (For self serving reason's of course- I can't watch and enjoy if the show is not on). Tracy Grathwohl Dear Russell and Shaun, We would just like to say that we enjoyed your programmes very much and sorry to hear that you are not making any more for a while. It was a superb idea for a travel show. Wishing you every success for the future. The Millar Family, Norfolk, UK Dear Russell and Shaun, I LOVE your show! I started watching it about 4 weeks ago and I get to see it at 10:30 am and at 12:00 noon! I make sure to watch both times daily. I was disappointed to see that you're not going to be making anymore shows and you can bet that I'll write to the powers that be to make sure that you can continue to make this exciting, funny and informative show! Angie, Franklin, KY Well unfortunately I don't have any good gossip on Shaun, but I do love the show. I watch it all the time on the Travel Channel here in the states. You guys are hilarious, and it's the best show I've seen yet on TV. Next time y'all come by the states, stop in Virginia!! Andrew in VA Russell / Shaun.... Just watched the Channel Islands show. A few years ago, my family and I spent holidays on both Jersey and Guernsey. It was great to see the sites again - thanks for the reminders. We're from Blackpool, but currently living in Saudi Arabia. So if you're ever in Jeddah....... Derick Just Great! It is the best show I can see in Italy. All the rest is rubbish! Are you coming over here? Ciao Paolo, Itlay Diceman, I have just moved from a very nice area in the Southern California area called Manhattan Beach and relocated to the city of Clovis , A little town east of Fresno Calif that boasts cowboy spirit. I have a horse and the episode when you were in Colorado really touched me , because you got to see the beauty of living life from horseback when you are secluded. I really don't remember the exact episode, because I work graveyard shift and by the time I get to see you on your show, I am getting groggy by then. Anyway, i am glad you got to see the beauty of the backlands, and i hope you felt the "Spiirtual cleansing" that I feel when i ride my beautiful companion "RANGER" in the surroundings that only God can provide. Mabye we will cross paths some day and be able to ride and appreciate the things that most people take for granted. P.S. I hope your show will continue and the dice will roll again ..... Until we can ride and have a few pints in the sunset of the Sierra's, take care... Sorry, but you know how emotional Americans can get. I will be watching your website faithfully! Leslie,Florida USA Dearest Russell and Shaun, I recently started watching your program on the Travel Channel in the United States. I absolutely love it.... it is my favorite. It is interesting, funny and thoroughly entertaining. Russells personality is extremely charming and Shauns? Well... who knows but he does an awfully good job with the camera. Keep up the good work and I hope you have a go of it for a long time to come. I would love to see you go to Melbourne Australia... it is a very beautiful but overlooked city. Chris Cognac I am only allowed brief glimpses of your travels through the travel channel but I am a total addict. Even though I live in a suburb of Chicago, I would love for you guys to come spend the day with us (me), the 'burbs' are pretty boring but you all could actually see how people live. Perhaps just make the burbs of Chicago an option for the dice to decide for you. Respectfully, your fan, Todd :) Hi Russell & Shaun Just to say the show's the dogz!
