E-mail us at whim@diceman.co.uk

Dear Russell and Shoun
I love this show a lot! I am from POLAND! I watch your show every day and I loved the concept and enjoyed the show. I hope that you will make a new show like: Diceman 2001 ! Thank you for all of your hard work and crazy adventures! . I have hopes from next throw ankle {cube} will bring you to Polands. And yet one even do not taste think about end series Diceman not I think oneself of day without you.
Grzegorz, Poland

Dear Russell and Sean,
I have been watching your show here in Australia on the lifestyle channel. I absolutely love it.
You couldn't have made a better show. I always get itchy feet and get the urge to rome. My husband says I start to twitch if I stay in the one place to long and my parents said they think I was left under a gooseberry bush by gypsies as I can never stay still. I would love to do what you do.
I am just waiting until November when we get our new car. The one we have now has seen a few miles and needs to be put out to pasture. Then in goes the tent and the kids and off we go, sadly I am limited to weekends and school holidays until the kids grow up. But hopefully it will give them the urge to wander or at least not to stagnate in the one place all their life.
Anyway what I was wondering is when are you going to come to Australia and rome around our country? I dont know if you've been here before but I know you'll love it. I would love to see ' The Diceman goes Downunder '.
Well take care, may all your journey's be enjoyable and safe.
Thanks for a GREAT show.
Elaine McGeorge, Queensland, Australia.

Hi my name is Kieran from Australia, and I love watching your show on The Lifestyle Channel. I like how sometimes you get weird and different things for the dice. I'm only watching the 1st and 2nd series but i heard on your web-site people want you to make more! I think you should!
Kieran, Austrailia

Hi great show. Surprised the BBC hasn't commisioned u yet. Can't wait for the next series. Are u going to do a world diceman. The american and the british isles were great but a world expedition would be great. Good luck.
Dicky

Hi Russell and Shaun,
Just wanted to let you know that we love to watch Diceman on the Lifestyle Channel here in Australia. We did not realize that the series was a few years old and will keep my fingers crossed you can get another one up and running. It looks like you both had a great time making the show so myself and my family have decided to do a trip with a dice if we ever get back to England again for a holiday. There is so much more we want to see and that is the perfect way to do it I think! Anyway thanks for the show!
Karen, Perth, Western Australia

To Shaun and Russell,
well, what can't you say about the diceman? Two interesting characters
travelling to and through places normal travel shows never go too. The
series in the United Kingdom has inspired me to travel myself, and I leave
for London shortly. I enjoy how you guys go to villages and small towns and
show the world that these so-called boring towns have so much to offer.Keep
the good and work up, and best wishes on the proposed up-coming series.
Regards
Phil Jensen. Perth, Western Australia

Keep pestering Discovery-it'll work!

Sally

Hiya guys!
I've been watching your series for a few months, it was only recently I read about dice living you see. And I saw a repeat of the series on sky, and it was fantastic! I't something that me and a friend have been thinking about for some time. So I was just writing to see how feasable you think it would be for us to dice-travel without the support of a television station... We'd have a small camcorder, but that's about it!
What do you think? Would you recommend it otherwise? Hope you can help,
Miranda Cheesman

Dear Russell & Shaun,
We discovered your show by accident whilst channel surfing one night & have been watching it ever since.
After checking your great website we now find that there are 4 series of this AbFab show to see. Thanks so much for the episode guide, so we can now work out where we're up to down here in Australia & thanks to cable repeats we can catch up on any shows we might have missed.
Please, please do a fifth series - how about doing 'Diceman Down Under'? We'd love to see you guys down here.
Scott & Kerri - Adelaide, South Australia.

Dear Nice people at little planet pictures
I have absolutely no doubt you have been swamped under with questions asking where are the marvellous Russell and Shaun from the Diceman. So, where are they?!!!!!!! I can honestly say, those series are some of the best television I have ever seen. I thought Michael Palin was good in the two series that were produced for the BBC, but what has been achieved by your company and the people involved with the Diceman is just superb.
If there is absolutely anything that can be done to get these guys back on the box, let me know, I'd give you my last penny! (if I won the lottery, you can be sure you'd get a big wad! Cash! I'm talking cash!) Is it a question of finances? I just hope Russell, Shaun and the team don't give up the dream. All people I have spoken to who watch the Diceman always have marvellous things to say, I've yet to meet someone who has any negative comments (apart from, how come Russell always gets the pint of Guinness? Great control of the dice.......)
I would love to know what is happening with our heroes. Oh, before I forget, you wanted some ideas for some new tv programmes? Well, there's these two guys, one quiet and sensible, the other one tall, funny laugh, and drinks beer when he can, who blag lifts here, there and everywhere, travel all over the place, and make our lives worth living...........................................
ta ra!

Hi to russell and shaun,
Ijust wanted to let you know that i think your show is great and even though ive seen the repeats many times on tv i still keep on watching it.
i loved the series that you did in the states, my girlfriend is from texas and ive asked her to take me to some of the places that you visited, but she put her foot down when i told her i wanted to ride a harley down route 66, i really envy you guys .
im looking forward to a new series , keep up the good work and thanks for the great entertainment that you provide
John, Watford

Hi Guys,
This is the first e-mail I've sent you because I've only just found your web site :).Great show, I have seen all the episodes I think!!!!!!!!!!! I hope you DO manage to get around to making a new series.I have just been watching a re-run of the series and just saw Russell driving a tank and Shaun driving the Abbot, made me laugh, the face of
Russell in the tank was like a kiddie in a sweet shop.......Thanks for the shows,
Zippy

Russell And Shaun.
Please make another series of the diceman. television has become a void of DOCUSOAPS!. yours had looks, charm, EDUCATION!!. for my sanity please make another show.
Kevin, Manchester.

Dear Russell and Shaun,
Just wanted to tell you both how much I enjoy your show. My life long dream is to travel to the UK one day soon & watching your show gives me heaps of ideas (& laughs) not to mention determination to save, save, save.........
Please keep it up & Thankyou for a wonderful entertaining inspiring show.
Regards, Ivy May King Island Australia

We absolutely love the Diceman!! It has really inspired us to travel to the UK and drive around ourselves rather than take a set tour. Here in Oz we get your program on the Lifestyle Channel, and having looked at the outlines of the series you have already done, it seems that we're not seeing your program in the right order. Oh well, its still great, more so as we get it twice a week! It would be fantastic if you could do a program here in Australia. There is so much to see, from the tropics to the Snowy Mountains, from tea plantations to hundreds of wineries (breweries too). Aside from seeing things, there's also heaps to do, more than enough to do a complete series. And you will find that if you can make it to Canberra, the capital city of Australia (and our home), there's plenty on offer here. Hope to see you downunder soon. Keep up the great work.
Best Wishes
Laurellee & Martin Jones Canberra, Australia

Hi guys
I just love the show and I have done for sometime; I must say that i'm so envious of you guys, how good it must be, to live life by the throw of a
dice, from where to what to do or even eat.But I must ask why isn't there a 1 on the rolling dice on the credits?Hurry up back with the new show guys & good luck!

Russel & Shaun
My wife and I lived in Alderley Edge for a year, due to work, on our return to Australia we caught your how on Foxtel. And we have been devoted fans ever since. It's great to see familiar parts of the UK, and your show is
excellent. The two of you work extremely well together. We are impressed with your website, in particular your profiles. I have often wondered what the Lone Ranger did when he retired, he left Tonto and partnered Russell, fighting oredom rather than desperados on the range. Mind you, I think Russ may have an element of desperado lurking, just beneath that suave exterior.Good luck to you both, Regards
Mal & Denise Kean South Australia

Dear Russell & Shaun
I would like to thankyou both for an excellent programme, it is both very informative and entertaining.
As I don't have the opportunity to travel the country on a regular basis, your programme shows me the type of places I should visit and what I should see.
Are you putting all the series on video, if so, when.
Hope you and your family are all fine Russell and that Shaun is well also
Yours Gary ...

Hi Russell & Shaun
I have been watching your show since it first started. I noticed on your website that you haven't said when your show is on, and people really want to know. Its on Discovery Travel & Adventure on Sunday 19th August at 2.00pm and on mon-fri at 11.30am and again at 5.30pm.I hope this helps fellow fans see you and hope that you manage to make a 5th series. I don't know what I'd do without it.
Paul, Salisbury, Wiltshire

Just thought I would write after visiting your Diceman website. Congratulations on a fantastic show. I find it difficult to believe that it has never been picked up by the likes of the BBC. Fingers crossed you get another series of the ground. Good luck to both Russell and Shaun on all their other projects. Yours sincerely
Debbie Joseph [Mrs]

Hi Russell, Shaun,
Been watching the series for a few months now on "The Lifestyle Channel" here in Australia and its thoroughly enjoyable. I think I should bring to your attention that series one was shown complete, but series two was pulled from screening after episode 3! We are now watching series 3. Any ideas as to why they might have done this? I have written to The Lifestyle Channel but have so far not received any reply.Regards,
Indigo.

Hi Russell and Shaun,
I have a 3 year old son he is a huge fan of The Diceman. It shows in Australia on Tuesday nights at 8.30 and for the whole half hour he sits on his chair and watches with wide eyes. He calls it "My Diceman". He recognises the theme music and will come running in from his room and plonk down in front of the TV.
I must say that his mum and dad also find it totally entertaining I favourite show on TV.
Would you guys ever consider coming to Oz - I sure you would make a great series.
I hope there is many more series to come.
Thanks for the fun.
Dominic, Bonnet Bay Australia

Still visiting your website. I just send an e-mail to the discovery-channel to ask for more diceman-shows. I am a fan and hope to see you soon with new travels.
Love, Trudy, Veendam, the Netherlands

Hello Boys What a wonderful idea you have come up with. We will certainly be taking the dice on our holidays. One Question for you Russell is why when you went to New Orleans did you have a cut on your head the next day. It was the show when the dice told you to leave the camera at the hotel. Next morning you were swimming in the hotel pool and you had a cut on your head with no explaination. Did you party to hard?!!? I got the impression that you didn't really like New Orleans is that the case? What part of America did you like best? I'm at work supposed to be working hard so I have to go. If you could drop me a line I would be most greatful.I have read some of the suggestions on the web page and hope you two will be off on your travels pretty soon. Keep up the good work

Russell and Shaun
I was watching The Diceman everyday on Discovery Channel. The Diceman is the best, really. Keep going and do not change anything. I am Polish so I hope you ( Russell and Shaun ) will visit Poland at soon as possible. It is a very interesting country ( Warsaw , Cracow , Zakopane , Mazury , Tatry ).
PAWEL FROM WARSZAW

Hi,
love the show do you think there will be another series (how about diceman in Australia)
from G Perry

Despite being a Discovery 'Wings' addict, I will switch to the Diceman at any time. You guys have fun. It rubs off on all of your TV fans and on all the people you meet and relate so easily to. You have shown the world what a wonderful place we live in and how easy it is to make friends by just saying hello and showing a genuine interest. I would love to meet Russell, treat him to a pint of the 'black stuff', and listen to his adventures. Thanks for being a friend.
David Durrell

Hi
Love the show. I try to watch it every day on discovery. I think i need to see only about 6 more episodes to watch them all! Is there going to be a diceman video with the series on them? I think it would be a good idea. Keep up all the good work. Cant wait for the next series!
Andy, Nottinghamshire

Hello Shaun and Russell,
My wife and I have been big fans of your programme for the last 2 or 3 years. It's a great way of showing places in their true light. So unlike the holiday programs that seem to fill our screens. The pair of you make the world seem a lot smaller than it is. We were undecided where to go go on holiday this year. we had to stay in the UK as we have a 7 month old son and we don't fancy taking him an an aeroplane yet. To make our decision, we asked 6 friends to name a destination. The dice was rolled and now we are off to Devon.(We both hoped for Scotland). We will of course be taking the dice, and when we get there we will ask 6 people to recommend a campsite etc.etc. We have decided to let the dice make all our decisions for us. So if we have a crap holiday IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!! Please try and get the next series up and running as we are fed up with the rubbish that the makers call travel programmes. Best wishes and Good Luck to you both.
Darren, Carol and little Phillip

Hi Russell & Shaun
Hope you guys r doing well. Just wanted to say I have been watching the show for a few years now and I think it's (pucker). I really hope you get your new seires im sure you will as it is the best show on the channel and the best show on the box. I see most of your stuff has sold out u should have some diceman dice made b/c I want some b/c i can never make my mind up about anything. Well gr8 work and I hope to see the new episodes very soon. Have a gr8 time filming them and perhaps u will stop and ask me to roll the dice sometime. Take care guys all the best.
Ps. Come down here to chelmsford and have a pint on me.
Kris, Essex

Hello.
I love your show so much because I love England so much. I can't afford to go to England because of our dollar ( which is a great reason why you guys should come to Australia - it's very cheap. Cheaper in New Zealand ), so I feel like I'm on holiday watching you guys. In Australia we're nearly finished Season 1 ( tonight's episode was when you went to Chester and now you're off to Dublin ). I hope they keep showing your
show as I would love to see you guys finally reach Europe although I'm very happy watching you guys go around the beautiful UK. I hope you get to make another series as your show is 99.9% better and more insightful than the other travel shows on TV. God bless the UK and The Diceman ( and Shaun of course ).
Luke.

Russell
Do you intend to do another series of the Diceman It is excellent, and woud give anything to have the opportunity to do as you have done in the past. Kind regards and happy travels.
Chris

Hi Russell and Shaun.
just a short note to say love the show and you are doing what most of the population would love to live their lives. thanks a lot
John ,East Kilbride,Glasgow.

Hi Shaun, Hi Russell
I can't believe it! No plans announced yet for another series, AND the T-shirt I want is sold out! When will we have the opportunity to buy more goodies? I really enjoy the series and can't believe it hasn't been bought up yet worldwide. The Discovery Channel much prefer to import American shows and re-segment and re-hash one show and make three, call them different names and put them on different channels. T'is just a cheap ploy to fool the viewers. They should be begging you to make another series. Keep up the good work.
Love Meryl, Wrexham, North Wales, UK.

Hey Russell and Shaun! I've been watching Diceman for a couple of months as I've just got Discovery.I'm writing from Greece just to let you know your show is fantastic!!! Addiction is an understatement!!!! I just saw the episode where you tried to go absailing in Jersey and couldn't face it.When I saw how disturbed you were I wanted to give you a hug myself!!!!!! I love your humour and style and Shaun has a silent humour that is almost hysterical!!!! I think its time for Diceman to "throw the Globe" and come and visit Greece,I'll let you stay at my house!!!!!
Wake up Discovery, bring back the show!!!!
Debbie,Greece
PS Great! at least they're now repeating the series!!!!!!!

Dear Russell & Shaun,
We've just got to say your show is addictive. Keep up the good work for a very long time.
Watched your show based in Keswick and was sitting, screaming (much to the annoyance of my husband Chris & friend Dave) on the couch for somebody to say "Castlerigg". My chants got even louder when lady No4 did actually say Castlerigg. By this time I was jumping up & down on the settee shouting "Give me a 4, Castlerigg" over & over again.
You probably think I'm a nutter. Castlerigg is a very special place of mine & I'm actually going there on Tuesday for the Summer Solstice. I'll think of you.
Cheers!
Pam (Liverpool)

Russell, great concept....love watching your show on lifestyles channel here in Australia.....keep up the great work and if you ever need a cameraman in Australia, give us a call.....cheers,
Dave Sinclair.

I would like to say what a 100% excellent show you have.
i never miss 2 dosses of it each day, and find shaun and russell to be very honest and real in personality which is nice too see.
me, my wife and 4 yr old daughter love it and felt for him when he couldnt absail....
please please try and choose via the dice derby its not amazing but does have history and does have a active ghost walk .
for the future keep filming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
