I thought I was the only one who likes this show, but I guess I'm just your average Joe that Likes a good show. I write to you from Riga, Latvia. I wanted to sugjest that you come to Eastern Europe, but by viewing your other e-mails it seems like you have a busy schedule. Great series, It proved to be ideal viewing while I was a student, you must have the best job in the world, but would you of gone for the Super Bowl tickets or would there of been some carefull editing as it would of no doubt hammered your budget ??? I particularly enjoyed the episode when you took the Harley's down Route 66 and also when you got leathered at the Mardi Gras, I think one of the reasons I like the show is because you are always eating and drinking, I can relate to that. Anyway you have got to do a series Down Under or maybe Thailand, now that would be entertaining viewing !!! Seriously Australia and New Zealand have got to be the next project. Hope to see a new series & thanks for some entertaining viewing

I watch the show avidly over here in Russia on Discovery,the appeal for me is the way the show flows so smoothly and is in-line with reality, the reason i say this is that Russell reminds me so much of my brother who has travelled extensively. The reason i am sending this e-mail is are there any plans for The Diceman to roll into Eastern Europe(Russia especially)as this part of the world is so unknown to many and all its taboo's as well. I've contacted the Discovery Channel asking them if they intend to repeat 'The Diceman' but alas they are too busy to be bothered with me. They are obviously in a board meeting trying to think of ever more annoying ways of making a program about renovating an American House. But back to the Diceman. Would you be any chance have any idea when Discovery intend to repeat the series. It formed part of the backbone of the channel along with 'Two's Country' and 'Cookabout'. I would be very grateful if you could let me know of any intended repeats. My family and I adore the show and really miss it. Best Wishes

Wicked and original! What can I say! I watch the Diceman whenever its on! I've watched it ever since I first saw you guys on the BBC and now its on everyday on Discovery Travel and Adventure which is even better even though I've seen them all before its still great to see you up to all your mental antics and Russell your laugh cracks me up like nothing else! The Diceman is by far my favourite programme as its intellectual (and I'm 20) and a good laugh! Hope to see a new series soon guys lots of love

I've been watching the Diceman from the start when it was first shown on British television. I was hooked straight away and even now I sit and watch repeats on Discovery Travel and Adventure. There is nothing quite like the Diceman. Russell you always seem to have me laughing my socks off even when you shouldn't! Your laugh is the best by far I crack up when ever I hear it! Shaun is great as camera man but any chance if you make a new series that we could see abit more of him as I and many others out there must agree that Shaun is one hot Man!!! Keep up the good work and don't change a thing I'll be waiting for the next series hope there is one! by the way hope there is going to be a series of videos as then I could watch the Diceman 24/7 hoooooooo hoooooooooooo hoooooooo! just like to know, if you can buy any of the episodes on video or dvd and how much. i can`t get about much but when i watch your programs i feel i`ve seen the places with out moving from the seat. Also i can`t make my mind up some times i roll the dice, saves all the agrow. Is there ever likely to be a Diceman Canada? similar to Diceman USA which we have recently been watching on Discovery Channel. We are now being treated to Series 1 on Sundays and Series 3 in the week. I know transatlantic flights may be difficult at the moment with the current climate but if you do get airborne again, would you consider "doing" Canada?, it is a lovely part of the world and I for one would love to see you both in Toronto (probably in a bar) but hey, we need you guys to check out the bars of Canada possibly with a bit of scenery and affiliated travel!. Is there going to be more Diceman merchandise as I checked the pages earlier this week and it seems that the only item available is the long sleeved sweatshirt. I would love to order some of the mugs, the t shirts and of course the baseball cap. Hope to hear from you soon.

Here's a letter from Jeff. I watch your show every day on Discovery Channel with lot's of fun!! Yesterday I saw episode 5 of the Series three, day 8. You visite the Dom church in Utrecht. (Dom means in dutch also "silly" or "stupid" :)) But the mad bell ringer said that you have to catch the first plane on SchipHol Airport!! My opion is that was a stupid (DOM) thing to say, I believe that it wasn't a dutch man WHEHE :)!! So I think that you was to short in The Netherlands!! Please return another time to NLD and also visite The Hague or Maasstricht or the province Friesland, it's also NLD but they speak a divirent language. The time you visite NLD was much to short!! We are big fans of yoursand have watched many of your programmes over the past 3 years.We live in Burnley Lancashire and I think our favourite series was the one set in america...we would love for you to do more over there as it was a great experience to see many of the parts of a country that you wouldnt see on an ordinary holiday programme. We were in Stockholm for 10 months with work ( from Sept.'99 to July '00 ) where we 1st saw your show on Discovery Europe. Religiously every day at 9.30am I sat in front of the tube and watched your show....series 1 - 3. What a great concept for a travel show...thumbs up for putting bringing it to life. We now have the show here in Australia ( as you've said ) and as soon as I hear that great tune I'm transorted in time to 2 years earlier in Sweden....with a large smile on my face. Just wanted to add my appreciation and congratulations to you both for such a great show.

Come on guys you must make another series. I just cannot see why the powers that be won't commission a new series. It's the best thing on televison. It is such a waste of talent not to have new shows. You guys have changed my whole concept of choosing where to go on holiday.... my wife nows throw the dice and we have to go with whatever the dice shows..... I think I have now watched each series a minimum of 4 times each and I still love it as much today as the first time I saw. It is one programme on the TV that I can not bear to miss as I spend the day wondering which place I am missing today. Last night I saw Russell doing 600 metre shark fishing in Greenland. I must say I fully understand how you felt at the end of the episode having to leave that place... what a beautiful part of the planet! I know most shows have done the "Australian bit" but as the dice man is shown over here on Satalite, why not come and do the "Diceman down under" I emigrated here from Blighty some 8 years ago and drove 36,000 km's around this interesting/huge/diverse bit of red dirt. The Backpacker scene is very big and cheap, so production costs would be very low. I'm sure one of you have been here before, so I don'y have to hark on about al the adventures you could have "rollin that dice" Good luck with your future plans

Is there ever going to be another series made? I know it's a question loads of people have asked, but BBC, ITV, CH4 or CH5 should get your quality, funny, original and brilliant idea for a travel show on one of the five main TV channels, because all you get on them is mainly crap, boring and un-original programmes and alot of repeats. I would also rather see you in another Diceman series than attempting DIY ( just kidding ). Anyway some slapping needs to be done to wake up some TV bosses about this show. May I say that your program is a bright light amongst the accepted shabbiness that you can see on TV these days. It should have ten years left in it easy. Perhaps you should sell the format to individual countries. But you have thought of that already. Russell is very good and contrasts well with Shaun's coolness. Of course it may well rely on good editing but whatever; as I hop thru Sky I will always stop at 'Diceman' regardless. There is only one other show I will do this with, and that is 'Friends'. This is because no matter how many times you have seen it you know you will enjoy it again. Shame you do not get their money. Regarding: Just to let u know that my hubby and I watch your shows on Sky!! We are now getting to the point that we are watching repeats!! How sad are we!! LOL. Congratulations on a fantastic series. I only wish each episode is on for an hour, it seems to go really quickly. Its hard to keep track on when it is shown on Discovery travel and adventure, so i keep seeing random shows. Currently trying to follow the USA one. The recent episodes on Route 66 were excellent and the scenery breathtaking, particularly the Colorado river rafting piece. Anyway I'm hoping for another series, it really is the best! Just to let you know that whilst on a family holiday to Florida, we took a dice, and spent many of our days deciding what to do on the throw of a dice. The bast part - well there were two........ Firstly, the element of surprise, and secondly, the kids never argued on what to do, because you cannot argue with a dice. Incidently, being sad people, we wear our diceman polo-shirts, and do speak to many people who watch the show. Perhaps on our last day we should have asked the dice whether to return home or stay......... odds we stay, evens we stay !! Great show, look forward to seeing a new series soon.

My family and I in Melbourne love the show and are sad that another series hasn’t on yet. Maybe a ‘Diceman Down Under’ show. I must admit, though, that we really love the UK series with all those interesting places in the UK that we hope to visit one day. I decided to look at your web page tonight. It was interesting to hear all about The Diceman programme. My husband and I discovered The Diceman on TV the other year or so and we really enjoyed it. I come from Greece and I've been watching your programme for some time now.I think it's the best one of this kind.It could really make my day and it managed to bring back a very warm feeling of England (because I lived there for one year as a student).Why has the programme stopped?Does this apply for our country only or has the programme reached an end? But I have to say, whenever beer is involved, I cant help noticing Shaun trying to fiddle the dice decision (sorry Shaun!!!!!). But now I am pretty worried, when are you going to make a new series? Just watched the Jersey episode (really felt sorry for you Russell regarding the abseiling thing), Shaun I'll bet your arms are pretty muscely by now after all that camera holding. I just stumbled across the programme by accident but now i am hooked! Great stuff, keep up the good work. Try flogging it to a mainstream channel so the rest of the UK can see it. If I were a controller I'd buy it!

When I first saw the program synopsis on sky digital about two guy's leaving their fate to the roll of a dice I thought "what a croc!". Then one day I was feeding our baby and wasn't able to turn the T.V over when your program came on. I then thought "wow! what a great show" since then we have been hooked. I now arrange the evening meal so we just sit down to eat as your show starts at 6:30 pm. We hope there will be many more shows as you both cheer us up no end. Love and best wishes and safe travels.

Just had to say how much I love the show! Been watching since about 1998 and can't wait for a 5th Series - but will there ever be one? It's been two years! How about "Diceman Down Under"? Surely The Diceman is a big enough hit on Discovery to let you do another series? I keep an eye on this website, but it never mentions another series being made. So what's the latest news? It's such a great show and really captures the spirit of "budget adventure" - plus it's so unintentionally hilarious. I don't think you realize how many "catchphrases" you have!! Anyway, you both seem like great guys, I love the show, and... well, just do some more, please!!! Thanks
